Looking for new music
So I'm in the mood for new music. I'll listen to lots of stuff, new or old. I'll give you some stuff as a template.
I love progressive stuff, but I'm picky. Anything like Yes, Porcupine Tree, Pineapple Thief, Spock's Beard, Demians, stuff like that is fair game.
I also love psychedelic stuff. Warm, fuzzy, mind bending, effects-laden stuff I also like. If it warps my mind, bring it the fuck on :D Love Deerhunter, Tame Impala, the like.
In terms of metal, I like prog/psych metal, stuff that sounds unique and not generic (not too technical either, like Dream Theater). Stuff like Mastodon, Opeth, etc.
Like a lot of indie stuff. Synth pop, chillwave, guitar pop, Pac-NW stuff, most of it is fair game.
And let's not forget classic alternative stuff. Bands like SP, Jane's Addiction, Our Lady Peace, Soundgarden, etc. are welcome.
