I drew it in pencil, then scanned it and colored it in photoshop. I used to do that vector illustration stuff, but for this i took a different approach, where I used the touchpad on my laptop to sort of 'paint' the color with my finger and the brush tool. I was pretty happy with how it came out.

thanks so much everyone!! and to 'guest', no it's not a photoshopped image...it's a pencil drawing that was scanned and then colored in photoshop. No effects or filters or were used and it's not traced from a photo, it's just my hands on the ol' laptop touchpad
