  • This is quite...interesting. Kind of has an M83 vibe to it, it's a pretty unique interpretation of the song. Thumbs up. :D

  • I'll have to look M83 up some more, I've only seen them perform on TV a few times and liked them. :-) Thanks for the comment.

  • Whoa. Shoegazy.

    Looking forward to that.

  • That was me btw. And I'm glad you like M83 :-)

  • what do you use for drums? i always love the sound of your drums

  • Fruity Loops. =]

  • I was gonna guess that! I've tried Fruity Loops but I can't seem to get good at it. This is soooo shoegazy and cool.

  • how did you learn? i need to figure out how to do stuff like this.

  • I have a friend that showed my Fruity Loops and he mainly creates electronic music. We made a song together once and I learned a bit from that. for these electronic sounding beats I just open up 3 different drum kits and just start with one measure. Move around beats until it fits the way I want to interpret the song/how I play. I usually make loop four measures long and switch it up within it to prevent being too repetitive. As far as mixing I have 3 tracks of the same drum loop. Mix one to the left and one to the right, and tweak the third one the way I want. I kind of just learned by experimenting and getting advice off forums.

  • This summer I'm gonna spend a whole week learning ow to use Fruity Loops, and then make an album. Hopefully.

  • Just make sure you don't get addicted. :razz
