You're right. If we're talking guitar I'd have to learn the song first. And I dont know that many early pumpkins stuff. Siva would be great but my lead gtr abilities arent that good. I'll have a think about the one's you mentioned and get back to you via PM.

PM me any other ideas too, if you'd like. I'm open to anything. We could also, just for kicks, do a regular cover of a song that's not early.

I'm hoping to have a go. But I dont think it will happen.. Im at uni with massive studios and all the gear, but we never get to use it. I might try to convince them to let me. Dunno what song I would do though

I do play guitar, but also bass, drums and i have sung in a few bands to. im not a technically good player at any instrument. i just like making noise. i think im going to do a cover of quiet. the plan for it is pretty much the same as the original, except i put in a big noise rock section. hopefully i can get it done. Quiet (loud version) haha

Impressive, you play drums too. Cool. Good luck with it. Dorovo and I are in the middle of doing a version of Quiet too. Have to see how we go with it.

Quiet would be a cool song to hear covered. I think this is the first time that two groups may submit the same cover for this contest. We had our fair share of that in the last contest as well as the Act IV demos, and Ghost Children CD submissions of course.

I uploaded a cover of Daydream and then realized Dalcon already submitted one. >.< Hope that's alright. Our interpretations are about as different as night and day though. Anywho, looking forward to what people have to say about it. I'm really liking what has been submitted so far. The "She" cover was a great kick off into the contest!

Hey guys. Not sure if you have noticed, but we have a couple of new covers that were recently uploaded. Not sure if I missed ones that had been uploaded before that. There is a cover of "Luna" and an instrumental cover of "Today'. Be sure to check them out!

Currently, covers of "I'll Never Change" and "Glynis" have been submitted for approval. I also hear that another "Luna" cover is in the works.

If you know anyone interested in submitting, please spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, etc about the contest. The deadline again is February 21st!

Cool. We currently have 26 entries as I write this, two more than we had for the Zeitgeist contest. So I am very pleased with that. I wonder if we will make it to 30 by the end.

If we do an MCIS contest, a nice number like 33 would be good :p.
