Haha! Has Billy signed that record deal yet? I haven't seen much promotion of Oceania so I'm guessing not? He said in his Twitter interview about 4 weeks ago that an announcement was imminent!

Judging from the 6 songs we have heard live, it seems like he may be onto something, and this album very well could be excellent. One thing to wait on is the production, overall sound and the other 7 songs. So if the other songs are as good if not better than what we've heard thus far, then that's one. Next is the production. He has stated his intent to change it up and produce it in a fashion the fans would appreciate. Okay, so that's two. If he achieves both of those, and we get his most solid record since Machina (/Adore/MCIS depending on your preference), then who would bitch about paying $9-$15 for said record?

I understand financial burdens could come into play, but it really isn't much money. I was drowning in debt for years, but I could still muster that much (whether I should or shouldn't have is another story :P)

So, let the man work it out with the label and release the record the way he sees fit. Who knows, perhaps it WILL be put up for free after maximum sales & exposure are achieved. Or have you already forgotten about the Vampire Diaries/The Fellowship situation?

Either way, I don't care. I will gladly download the thing if it is free, and gladly shell out a tenner if it isn't. Whatever. So long as the record lives up to the hype, it is what it is.

I will pay for the album on a solid record / CD.
