So it turns out that SP's rehearsal space was robbed last week and that is how the new Zeitgeist images were obtained. The alleged thieves have been caught and arrested.

First of all I think that stealing from anyone is wrong but this article raises a good question for pumpkins fans:

If you had broken into SP's rehearsal space and had access to all their goodies but could only take one thing what would you grab and why?

Remind me never to fuck with Billy...........jail?! That's a bit extreme I think
And I laughed at that picture with a question mark on D'arcy and an X on James for some reason.

hahaha. i wouldve brought my video camera and snuck into the actual room they were playing. get me some awesome pumpkin rehearsalness to watch later.

Hmm........I think I would've taken a quick listen to the master tapes if nothing else. I have probably taken something small like a guitar pick on the floor or a drumstick or something.......you know, something they wouldn't miss or notice if it was gone but would hold great value to me.

We're actually lucky they're not starting over from scratch because of this --- as big a secret as everything is being kept.

If they called of the album and the tour at this point, they would lose way more support I think.

I would steal their trash...you never know what you're going to find there...j/k..I dont know what I would steal. probably tapes of rare stuff or demos.

Would you share the music (and risk being caught) or would you keep it a secret?

if i did take the tapes then i wouldn't share it considering that it would spoil the entire record for the pumpkins and it would make me sad .

however if the risk of bing caught was the only reason not to then i definitely would. considering I would probably be caught anyways.

In their position I would probably listen to the album or whatnot and take pictures/video of the place. (especially if darcy's bass was there like that one dude said}

He's probably the one who did it, maybe that's why he never posted here again? I wonder how they found them?

Yeah, just something small. I think it's great that as much as you try to convince somebody that (if you had really taken something such as a pick or stick... hey, that rhymes) it was genuine. That would make it even more special to whoever took it (if they took it) because they are the only one who knows it's the real deal.

But, yes, STEALING IS WRONG! (Are we able to get more smileys that disapprove of things?)

Ok - We've covered the fact that stealing is wrong.

But let me change the question just for those without a hypothetical bone in their body...If Billy LET you in to the rehearsal space and told you you could take one thing what would you take?

If Billy really didn't care, I'd probably take one of his guitars, as that would be amazing to have. But i wouldn't take the album. Listening to it now would be like skipping to the end of the movie when its half way through. We've all convinced ourselves of the date to which we have to wait. Hearing it now would kill the suspense.

Those fans would probably get way with it if they didn't post them on the internet. If you're gonna steal, at least cover your tracks...

I think they wanted people to know they did it. Why else pull a heist like that - for 5 pictures???

But surely they could have anticipated that someone might find them and get them for it.

Also, I dont know if this is true but i heard that their account was hacked into and that they didnt actually post the pics at all!

Maybe the whole thing is a publicity stunt?

If it is, it has sort of backfired; with loads of fans being angry at billy and all.
