Yeah, iw will still buy anything they put out, but it would be great to have the original line up back, as long as they were happy with each other. It would suck if they felt like they (james and darcy) were pressured into returning and making negative output as a result. I would only want them back if they wanted to be back, if that makes sense.

I've always felt (just form what i read) that the core of SP was Billy and Jimmy and that James and D'arcy were like replaceable, interchangeable parts that could be changedout. Personally I think it would be great to see the four of them back together, just because there would be such a strong sense of originality to it.

Well, I remember reading one of Billy's "Confessions," in which he described the period when Adore was being recorded. He gave the impression that James and D'arcy pretty much did nothing but sit around and be mean to him. And many reviews of Siamese Dream mention how Billy did almost all of the guitar parts himself. But it bothers me how James and D'arcy seem to be have such a difficult relationship with Billy. I mean, looking at all the publicity photos the band made before Adore, it seems like they had so much fun together.

Can anyone fill me in on the whole story of why James and D'arcy feel the way they do towards Billy and the band? I know they had a troubled romance for a while, and I know that the firing of Jimmy probably strained the band a little. But what's the rest of the story?

Yes that is true, his says his tries to keep the personal personal, so they dont get destoryed by the exposure. He says ont he 99x interview

Remember too, Billy's confessions are only HIS side of the story.
And I'm sure details were left out for good reason.

There are rumors that Billy did everything, except drums, on SD. Weather this is true or not, we will probably never know.
From the sounds of it, Billy just seems like a perfectionist workaholic whose band mates didn't always share that same ideology.

Yeah, that is what i was refering to.

Yeah, I admit I would tend to be a bit biased towards Billy...even though with all his emotional troubles, he must have been a maniac at times. And he does tend to have a pretty accusatory tone in those accounts. But anyway...I'm enough of an obsessed fanatic to take every word of his as something holy. Though I'd like to think I'm a bit more subdued than cashcarstar here...
