Was anyone else orgasming over united states? even with that terrible quality, you can just tell its going to be awesome. It sounds alot like XYU to me, and 9 bloody minutes!, its going to be a future fan favourite i think.

I'm bleeding for this song right now. I feel a tingly feeling every time I watch that video. This song IS Rock!!!! That guitar riff kicks me into the wall and rips my face off!!! That's how great this song sounds...

Why do I have to be in school upon the release of all these great videos? So, is it every bit as politically charged as the title would suggest - or is the theme pretty vague, such as in Geek USA?

You can't understand any of the lyrics. Most of what we saw from the videos is just the instrumental parts (which kick ass!), but the video quality is too poor to catch any of the words. "For God and Country" sounds more like a 'love your God and country' song, but idk if United States is along the same lines or not... but it's loud and in charge, so you won't be disappointed at all!

I've avoided listening to this song...only because I've heard it's amazing, and I don't want my first experience of it to be shitty youtube quality.

In fact, I've decided to not download or watch ANY of the new songs, because I don't wanna ruin them for me. (Unless album quality songs leak. I'll download them...I'm not against listening to leaks, 'cause I'm gonna buy the album and as many singles as I can get my hands on anyway, I just don't wanna hear shitty quality stuff).

For God and Country is very good quality I think (the drums are a bit too loud for the camera, but that's it). It is also the entire song plus a bit of Billy speaking in the beginning.

Am I the only one? Maybe I misheard, but it kinda sounded like in the 3 minute clip of United States, that at the beginning Billy said a few times "I wanna die, I wanna die". Did anyone else hear that? If those are lyrics, I'd say this sounds like the darker side of Billy we used to hear in Mellon Collie...

I think he's saying, "I wanna fight."

I'm trying not to listen to any of the new stuff till I can listen to all of it at the same time. its better that way.

I have a very weak will power though, it sounds so much like XYU to me, i love it.

I listened to it yesterday, and wasn't disappointed with the song's introduction. I can't wait! It most definately is a return to form...music like United States is simply ingrained upon BC's and JC's souls. I put the "For God and Country" video on my Myspace profile, as it's the only marginally coherent video from the whole collection...and one of the only ones without some annoying Frog screaming along to the lyrics.

Are we officially allowed to shout "HEY!" or whatever, in between the dun-dun-dun-dun-dun parts in the intro??? Because I can't imagine not doing it...

I couldn't really tell from the video I saw of it. I will have to wait until at least I hear a clearer live version.

Ok, so now that you can hear the whole song live in the "Music" section, has anyone's opinion changed? Comparing the whole thing to just the small video clips, I think that overall, the first half of the song is a little more quiet than I thought it would be... but I still love the song just as much as I thought I would! Loud and passionate... that's the Billy I love.

What do you think of it??

I love it, but I def think the studio version will be much better. I can just see that they will put some sort of sweet effect on billy's voice during parts of the song.
