Geek N.Z. OFFLINE Die Pasta of Muppets Posts: 2565	There are a few versions on Netphoria, the first few are pretty assy quality because they were recorded from the radio. The last one I think is the full quality, can't get any better.

I don't know, but maybe I'm just losing touch with the band with age, but Glow is just stale. Even Zeitgeist had potential with a few songs, but literally this last few run of songs is leading me to believe that future endeavors will be worse than Zeitgeist...G.L.O.W. just lacks any depth whatsoever, no sound dynamics whatsoever, it's lacking that Pumpkins grit, and it's not dark. How long will it be until we get a balls-out rocker like The Everlasting Gaze again. If Billy wanted to get fans back for real, we'd have another song like The Everlasting Gaze, but what we're getting is these dubbed down, dry, and stale rockers with no substance!

His vocals are better, but I don't get it. He sings like he used to in concert!!!! I'm so confused at this point. The backing vocals sound poor, and the song has no depth. It doesn't sound like a Pumpkins song!!!! No 'grit' and 'buzz'.

I respectfully disagree. you should take a listen to it a couple more times, once was obviously not enough for you to hear the greatness of the tune G.L.O.W.

plus I do not understand why they need to be dark and depressed in their music all the time. Billy had six years of other projects to change his mode and expression as a musician and zwan was far from dark, which leads me to believe he has grown as a person in his life. Thus creating different sounding tunes for the future of his music. I like the fact that the band is trying other things.

Yes i agree!
Look at it from a musicians point of view (or at least Billy's). Do you think he wants to be writing the same kinds of songs over and over again? I know I wouldn't. I'm glad they're taking a step in a new direction, because it's the only way a band can be really good and unique and stay that way for a long time like the Pumpkins have.
