Maybe we'll look back and think, wow, the Pumpkins were ahead of their time, no one does albums anymore! But it still seems like those of use who still like albums are caught in the transition. So I suppose I'm just trying to go along with it. As long as good music comes out of it, it's all good to me.
i agree to an extent, but i'm pretty disappointed by the no albums thing too. pumpkin albums were works of art start to finish and i will be sad if they only release radio friendly singles. i love their radio tracks of course, but i always appreciated the more daring, experimental stuff that was unlike anything else and how it all flowed together to form one masterpiece of an album. its sad to think about.
as for the new stuff- i like most of it too. i don't hate anything. i would just say i like some of the songs from the tours and the Zeitgeist b-sides more than some of Zeitgeist.
