My God, I listened to this song again today, and I was totally blown away. Am I the only one who has been in love with this song since hearing it?

I think it was a real pre Gish gem, and I'd love to see it pulled out again live! But we all know how likely that would be.

Though, they DID take out Translucent... * hopes! *

Anyway, I think it's interesting to note how the vocal style of Zeitgeist is closest to pre Gish work than anything else. I remember an early interview or something, back from 2006, or whenever, when we were getting news about Zeitgeist, and Billy said something like "we're hearkening back to the old days here."

Anyone else love this song to death?

epitome OFFLINE Die Posts: 6624	A lot of the pre-Gish stuff is great. I made a 3 CD set of songs from 1988-1994 using songs that didn't appear on any of their albums - so mainly stuff from Mashed Potatoes, Reel Time Sessions and then some other b-sides/rare live songs and demos. It's great.

Posts: 4442	Indeed, but who the hell (except young and genious Billy;) ) would get the idea to turn this violin driven VU-classic into a new wave/neo-prog tune...the Pumpkins version is brilliant (but not as brilliant as the original by VU, of course8-) )
