Why is Forgettable above Bad and Horrible?

Forgettable isn't Bad or Horrible, it's just that it's not memorable.

Bland/Boring would be along the same lines.

I dunno, I think Forgettable implies there is nothing redeeming whatsoever. Like, not even worth the effort to designate it as bad.

I don't think Lightning Strikes is a bad or horrible song, but I don't remember how it goes at all. Thus, forgettable.

I agree with Rivers' definition.

yeah, i think that means a song that is just kind of "meh." a song that is not fantastic, but not horrible either exactly. basically a song that doesn't elicit much of a response either way.

think of it this way- Thru the Eyes of Ruby is holy crap fantastic; WWMM complete with Linda Strawberry's Children of Corn Choir is horrible; Lightening Strikes was kind of meh, its on my ipod and i listened to it a couple times when it came out but it doesn't do much for me either way.

Me too. I thought it was easily apparent it was the best TbK song by a country mile. Unlike the forgettable people I've got the entire thing memorized note by note, seeing how I've listened to it.... 163 times according to my (evil apple) iTunes. Strange to see so many people didn't think anything of it Or think the other songs were better...

Oh, and made a few covers. Acoustic, full electric, Bugg Superstar-ish dorky electronic reinterpretation.....
