Oh that's cool, I'm glad to see a fellow hater of Garbage And Roses! My brother used to play Guns And Roses real loud but I would cancel it out by playing The Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden at full blast.
I don't mean to hurt anyone, I'm just speaking my personal opinion.

What the hell are you guys smoking? GNR is great! Appetite is one of the greatest debuts of all time and Use Your Illusion 1/2 have some fucking AMAZING rock songs. (along with some damn good ballads) Just listen to Coma or Estranged. Those are amazing songs. Get In The Ring and Shotgun Blues are both great feel-good, fun rock tunes as well.

guns n roses are alright. album reissues are the best thing BC could do. almost all HIS new music isnt really worth the pumpkins name. i would much prefer it just be solo. because not even seeing the old songs live would compare to how moving they were while listening to from a cd i bought at a used record store downtown.... i found the first four pumpkins cds there. someone must have thought someone new could use them. im so happy they sold them for 3 bucks a piece, just so id find them. i got the fourth free ;)

So as everyone's probably read, Gish and Siamese Dream are coming out on November 15th, and Pisces Iscariot has been pushed back to 2012.
As my tutor, old bubble face, used to say: "make love and be merry, for tomorrow you may catch some disgusting skin disease."

When they are on the shelves I'll believe it.

Not trying to be all cynical about it. I can't be the only one tired of him announcing dates and deadlines for stuff and just not following through or just forgetting about them altogether. I know he does not owe us anything and all that, but don't go around announcing stuff then change everything around. It is one thing for it to be once or twice but he makes a habit of it.

To be honest, I like hearing announcements rather than just nothing. Remember that like 4 month period after Freak where there was no SP news at all?

I guess, but if you can't follow through, then why bother?

But if the announcements turn out to be wrong most of the time, they don't really mean much. He should just start being more vague. He could tell us the album is being worked on and not give a release date. Or at least don't give a date he can't even get within months of keeping to.
Anyway, I already had at least half a dozen albums I was more interested in still to come this year, so I won't miss not having Oceania.

I was excited for it but not at the same time. I knew it wasn't gonna come out this year. Plus I'm with you epitome, there are a bunch of albums I was already really excited for.

Fuck yeah, Mastodon. Black Tongue kicks major ass. And ofc anything Steve does is gonna be great. Haven't listened to Ghost Brigade yet though, any place to start?

Perhaps I shall check it out. I'm really picky with my metal so it might not appeal to me, but I'll give it a listen.
