That's where you're wrong and where you and Billy both share the misperception. He didn't say "singles", he said "key-work". Which is Mayonaise, Thru The Eyes of Ruby, Soma, and the singles. It's the stuff the fans respond to most. Which fans do want to hear. And myself being a massive fan, I wouldn't want to see a show without any "key-work".

He specifically listed "Today", "Cherub Rock", "Bullet", and "Zero" which are all singles and which are songs that (most) SP fans are tired of. I would not label any of those tracks as "key work". Ruby and Mayonaise are a completely different subject from those songs.



On a side note, I'd love to see him bring back some of the Residency material. 99 Floors, Question Mark, No Surrender, ... so many great songs. Of course, bringing back real obscurities like Speed, Towers of Rabble, I'll Never Change, Methusela, Cherry, and Once in a While would be heaven...

Yeah, I don't realistically see another Pumpkins studio album (after Oceania) until around 2013 or 2014 at the earliest.

Hopefully. I'm hoping he's going to turn Teargarden into 4 albums of 10-12 songs each. That way we can write the first bunch off as being an album and move on from those, rather than them being the first 10 songs in a 44 song album.

Well, I mean it's probably going to be released in a big box set at the end and I will want a physical copy. Course, hopefully the box set will be divided into 4 CDs, even if he doesn't call them each an album :)

The more CD's the more they'll charge I'm sure, regardless of how much music is actually on each CD. 4 CD's does sound good, I like your idea.
