Vote DON for President! I agree with everything you said (except 90s babys suckin more ;) ), The world is so materialistic these days, it's disgusting. That's our generation and I can't say I'm especially proud of it's values and priorities. No time to enjoy life at all, always moving at 100 mph.

I got my CD copy of Oceania in the mail yesterday, very pleased with the quality, sounds much better than the internet rip I had.

i can't stop listening. this hasn't happened to me since the Best of Depeche Mode, disregarding that it's been a few years. this has gotta be the most beautiful Pumpkins since Adore.

So I've been stupid busy this week and hadn't gotten to buy the album yet. Had been listening like crazy on spotify since Tuesday, and had plans to go get it today, when a copy was given to me by a buddy at work. They sent a copy to the radio station and I was apparently the only one who really wanted it. hahaha Woot for free albums!

Been listening over and over. What is amazing about this album is the consistency. There is no song I cannot stand. I think every previous album had at least one song I'd skip. While my least favorite are Chimera and 1D1H, even they are decent. Looking at my rating system I use in my digital library of Pumpkin songs, I have to go back to SD to find such strength across the board. Totally thrilled with this album.

Oceania is sooo goooood. I can't stop listening either. I would say the only song that feels just kinda average to me is Wildflower.

Agreed. Picked up the hard cd today at Best Buy (believe it or not) the lowest price I've found - on my way to a used cd shop, no less.

Nice effort too on the site re-design - looks great.

Edit: No more Safety Can videos please... that fucking song has been stuck in my head all day damn it.

Just curious, what do you pay for a new album in the US?
It's €15 in Germany (approx. $19 I guess).

That would be really cool if it were released as the first "single" too - just to be a bit contrary to formulae. Great track.


Edit: Also - I'm really hearing now how much Nicole adds to this band - she is one helluva musician; very subtle and solid. I hope her role grows. Am missing Jimmy a bit but then again, he's one of my all-time fave drummers - and that's taking nothing away from the kid. As far as Jeff - just trying to pick out his parts at this stage.

And Billy should get props for the keyboard work on this one too.
