11. Glissandra
This song, the couple either side of it, are keeping Oceania new for me because I haven't listened to them as much as the rest.
While I do like this one, I just keep feeling like it's not as good or different as the other songs on Oceania. Like, I can see this better placed as a B-side to The Celestials or My Love is Winter.
Hmm. Then regarding it just on the album, the rating might improve somewhat. I sort of see The Chimera / Glissandra / Inkless almost like a superficial attempt to revive the old band. Like everything up to Pale Horse was the new band, and he somehow falls asleep in it, and forgets it's 2012 and returns back to 1996. It's the dream version of what he would be closing the show back then. Of course Wildflower is the wake up.
