I know this is not exactly talking about lyrics, but regarding Stumbleine. My favorite version of the song is the version they played on the Adore tour (especially the recording that I heard of the Charlotte show). Anyone else feel that way?

I know Billy doesn't deserve credit for this one, but I think Landslide has the most amazing lyrics. Apart from that, I like Muzzle, Galapogos and Let Me Give The World To You a lot.

Favorite lyrics.... that's way too difficult. I like too many and very few standout as being better than others.

that being said Tonight Tonight is almost perfect lyrically. Other than that it depends on how I'm feeling and what I'm in the mood for. Sometimes the lyrics to Tales of a scorched earth are fucking earth shattering but sometimes something like Cupid De Locke hits me.

The best album lyrically is Adore. I think it had the right mix of being creative and image inducing while being direct enough to know what Corgan is trying to say.

Lyrics on Gish aren't too great but they get the job done.
Siamese Dream lyrics run from ok to amazing.
MCIS is the most directly emotional and easiest to relate to.
Adore is as stated above.
Machina gets mysterious if you look at from a concept album viewpoint but pretty direct when looked at on a song by song basis.

It's all good.
