I have heard some performances of Cherub Rock (from'96 on) in which, in the final chorus after Billy sings "as long as there is some money" he says something like "I love" something or "I love you" something, but I can never understand it. Does anyone know what he says?

i think they do that in the studio version of the song......... we might not be talking bout the same thing though

I think I know what you're talking about, but that's not the same thing...but I don't know what he says there either! I wish I knew that too, that one's even harder to hear.

In the studio one, it sounds like he says "and it's true" but it's fairly faint. I wonder if anyone knows that one too.

You might be getting parts of Cherub Rock confused with parts of Hummer... In that song, before the quiet part Billy says something like, "I love you...it's true.."

Nope, the part where he says we love (whatever) is definitely from live Cherub Rock's starting in 1996 and the other thing is from the album version but it's really faint. If anyone could listen to both or at least one of these and listen for it, and give their thoughts, that would be a appreciated.

i listened tot the song last night and it said after "as long as there is some...." billy said "and ya can't stop" very faintly. thats what i heard! I will listen to cherub rock in 96 though!1

Ok that makes sense! Never understood that, but that is definitely what it sounds like! Good ear, and lemme know what you hear in the live one!
