This one's been growing on me. I heard it on the radio the other day (WBRU perhaps?) and really got into it.

Stop hating on Linda Strawberry! I'll admit I hate her vocals on SP/Billy stuff, but I like her music pretty well, It's a whole lot better than some of the crap that plays on the stations here. She just needs to concentrate on her own stuff and stop singing backup, her voice just isn't suited well for it.
Oh and I LOVE Freak, the lyrics especially:) It's my second fav so far, right behind ASFAS.

i don't mind her song Dig or the instrumental piece Ballerine danse so much although it sounds like a pumpkiny rip, but beyond that her songs are crap. plus if a person can't sing live i lose respect for any studio stuff even if the vocals are better because that means they tweaked the hell out of it to make it sound that way. and she sounds like a train wreck on stage. it can't be denied. its not about being more suited to lead vocals or backup. if you can sing, you can sing. if you can't, you can't. and she usually waffles between mediocre and horrible live.

i always thought she was just some glorified groupie of some kind. i don't know how she ended up involved with stuff.

I really don't have any idea who Linda Strawberry is. I just see her name pop up and here all the time, so I know she has some Pumpkins connection... and I know she's been doing the crappy artwork for SP recently... other than that I don't know or care who the hell she is.

She's kind of like that girl in a club who's all gung-ho about everything and gets really involved with all the administrative duties and signs up for all the committees and does all the decorations and event-planning for events and stuff, and puts herself forefront at the center every chance she gets because she loves all the glory and attention...


So why does Billy keep her around?? My theory is she tricked him into letting her give him a blowjob and now he has to make it up to her and let her hang around all the time and leech off his fame and career, and every single moment she bellows her whale cries onstage Billy shudders at being stuck with this cakey-makeup faced big bag of shame giving an evil grin and sly eyes in his direction...

He needs to learn to hit it and quit it.

It's official, Freak is on my shitty local alternative rock station. It's the first one from Teargarden so far.

Vote for it to become the song of the day here, because anything's better than that guy from Live's song.

Is Live still around? They played at my college once, like 10 years after they stopped being relevant. Poor choice. All that guy ever sings about too is "feeling it", and he always does it in this semi-sicko kind of way..."I can FEEEL IT...FEEEEEL IIIIT..."

i think i remember that band after looking them up. i must not have liked them much though because i forgot about them.

I don't think anyone likes Live anymore. I mean the guy was playing a charity gig at a bowling alley close to where I live. I know it's a charity gig, but I don't think many bands would be caught dead playing in a bowling alley.

Freak was on my local station today too...
