An 8 from me. Nice little song.
Your strength is my weakness, your weakness my hate
My love for you just can't explain
Why we're forever frozen, forever beautiful
Forever lost inside ourselves

This is the perfect ending to a brilliant album.
Everyone's singing is featured and in the end it fades into an even more emotional reprise of the MCIS-Theme.
If that fragile piece of art is not worthy 10 points, what else should be?

10 points.

I find the end of Ruby to be better. That, IMO, is what should have closed the album. (not Ruby itself, only the end, maybe switch the endings of Ruby and F&G)
You're obliged to pretend respect for people and institutions you think absurd. You live attached in a cowardly fashion to moral and social conventions you despise, condemn, and know lack all foundation. It is that permanent contradiction between your ideas and desires and all the dead formalities...

I felt the same about By Starlight. Warms my heart. :)

No it is perfect the way it is 8-)
Two reasons:
1. Mellon Collie's journey comes to a full circle complete. I think it is wonderful that we find ourselves at the beginning again. It is rare to see such craftsmanship these days.
2. It is much much better than Ruby's outro imo

Yeah, that reflection back to the start of the album is very important, especially on an album as long as this. That makes it a perfect ending, for me.

Whether you can use "these days" in relation to MCIS is another question... it is 16 years old now :)

Yes: "It is rare to see such craftsmanship these days" is an ambiguous statement. I meant These Days it's rare to see such craftsmanship.

This song has such a great atmosphere, and an amazing scope of unique sounds used. I don't really know much about this song to be honest, but I know I love it.

This is very good. Shame they didn't make a full album in the style of this and TEITBITE, some kind of dark electro thing.

The story behind this song was that it was written for Shaq, right? It's kind of surreal to imagine hearing this song playing at the ending credits to Kazaam.....which is an awesome movie by the way! :D
