First of all: Great topic Sikamikanico999

Well, concerning the original SP (from 1987 to 2000), there's only one song I refuse listening to.
I've mentioned it a thousand times but it can't be mentioned often enough:
Bullet With Butterfly Wings.
This was Billy's very only lowpoint with SP1, the sell-out; this was Billy selling his ass to the bosses of Virgin records and to stupid grunge kiddies, too.
Every other recording of them, every lo-fi demo and outtake is a delight to me and I can't find one weak tune besides, but I hate hate hate hate hate BWBW!!!
By the way: Give those skippers from Judas O a try, they're great!
Then there is the entire discography of Sonic Youth which I love, every one of their 20+ albums, but I can't stand their 1990 release Goo which also was a pop-grunge sell-out. And I consider myself being a Sonic Youth hardliner.
The album In Absentia by the British prog-rockers Porcupine Tree is an alright, maybe an a bit too handsome album with a nice flow, but the 2nd song on it, called Trains, totally turns me off and I skip it almost every time I lsiten to the album...this is another song hailed by many fans which seems shallow and lame to me.
