which is your favorite album, and why? and which is your favorite song and why?


mine is Siemese Dream bacuse of just the general setup of albums, it is quite remarkable.... dont get me wrong MCIS is good, but i like siemese dream better...

and geek usa is my favorite song cuse its all kickass

I honestly don't know. At one time I would have said Siamese Dream, but now I can't choose between Siamese Dream, MCIS, and even Machina. With MCIS being on two discs, and the varied nature of the songs, there are more areas of downtime for the listener as opposed to Siamese Dream, in which all the songs are mostly top-notch tracks that flow rather smoothly throughout the album. If I were to take all of my favorite songs from MCIS and compile them on a single CD, then that would surely be my favorite. But since that's not the case, I really can't say which I prefer.

I like them both, but if I had to choose, I would say MCIS, probably because there is much more variety and it's a double, so the totality of songs I like is much greater. What can I say? Billy has not done a an album that I haven't liked.

hmmmmm. why o humans like to ask unanswerable questions? Why ar we here? Is there a god? Why is the sky blue? Do you prefer MCIS or SD?.......

Backed into a corner I say MCIS for the sheer granduer of it.

lol, yes.... it is truely a tough choice.... and latly ive been digging the Adore Demos for some reason.... i dunno maybe just a phase but i really like that stuff

Right now I'm on a MCIS kick. Siamese Dreams is a great CD though... I go back to it everyone once in a while.

Siamese Dream is by far better, imo. Because I honestly love every song on that album, whereas maybe 3/4s of Mellon Collie is good.

But again, that's just my opinion.

I prefer Siamese Dream musically in alot of ways, but personally MCIS is just 'the' album of the nineties. It really feels like those times. I've heard all my friends who weren't into music who are getting into the Pumpkins say it is "nostalgic" even to those who havn't heard it in the past.

siemese dream for me just kicks ass!!! hummer is my fav even better played live!

its so siemese dream now im not saying mcis is bad cuz its not but siemese dream has disarm (which happens to be me and my boyfriends song...deep), luna, pissant, and soma i love each and everyone of those songs

But my favorite song is "Soma"...

All the albums are awesome. Adore, although no one else seems to like it much, is one of my favorites. Siamese Drream is special to me because I've been listening to is since I was 8 years old and it reminds me of things that no other album does...Soma is one of the of my all time favorite songs. I guess it reall depends on my mood.

I choose Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, because listening to it all in one sitting is like a journey. And it has such a beautiful beginning and end.

Like Venison, I feel MCIS is a journey. SD is great too but MCIS changed my life and is, without any doubt, my all-time favorite album and I'll even go as far as to say it's the greatest album ever made by anyone!

Because of the way light particles reflect off of dust. ^.^

And i perfer MCIS, not just because the msuic rocked, but becasue it was a miracle record. It was supposed to bust, because it was a double, but it did the opposite.

I love them both & its really hard to choose, but I'm going to say Siamese Dream. Can't go past Soma.
Although XYU is my very favorite.

I think SD because it is better music, but MCIS because of the statement it made.

siamese dream has the sounds guitars vocals that take me into the clouds mellon collie was remarkable and a great concept album.billy has said siamese dream sounds like a sell out i say it sounds unbelieveable....sd is what brought sp into the main stream and launched their success the rest is history...i think machina is my favorite though....IM TIRED OF DREAMING OF REST--adore lp LOL

I say MCIS for the same reason above.
