Just got a pretty neat little solo for the solo section.
It's evolving...Yay!

Well shit. The files are too large for email. We'll have to leave it out in the open.

Here's my take. I added slightly distorted guitars with a chorus effect, an adapted solo section, and lead to tie it back to the original. It's still bare bones, but I was imagining the song with lots of synths and key going on. Hopefully someone will add the distorted rhythm section. Let me know what you think. You wont hurt my feelings. If it sucks, say so.

Wow, the opening distortion is fantastic! I noticed that it stopped after awhile, but I think it would sound great if the whole song had that background distortion! Adds a really great/much needed dimension to the tune.

As for the solo segments, I personally thought they were a little rough around the edges, but I liked the ideas there.

Yeah the distortion adds more depth to it. I only followed the arpeggiated chord structure, but I can add more. The reason it drops out is that there's a section a section of the album version that doesn't include the distortion, and I didn't do the "Crashing down" parts.

The solo is rough, but I can clean it up if you guys like it. And I don't like the little delay run right before the lead. There was something in the album version sort of like it, but I failed at replicating it.
