This is a song I just recorded yesterday, it doesn't have any vocals yet but I am playing all the instruments. It is only around 40 seconds long, but I hope you all enjoy it.

Hi guys. This thread is a good idea. I'm liking the original music that other people have posted up so far.

In the past I've posted some SP covers and have really appreciated the feedback from other members. I've been working on a solo project that I like to call "Arcane Night Music" (I stole the phrase from BC). The aim is basically to write a whole bunch of songs that tell a gothic tale (or at least either the lyrics or the mood are melodramatic sounding!)

So if you didn't mind wasting 5mins, I've uploaded a few demos from the project so far, starting with a song called "The Second Circle".

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I've heard a lot of that, people saying the song could work either way. I agree, but I wanted to do it that way, since I hadn't done a song with just one guitar in forever. I like your stuff. You have a good voice, definitely reminiscent of Freddie Mercury. And I especially like the track "Arcane Night Music". Reminds me of Radiohead's Pyramid Song.

I would also like to know if there are more Soundcloud'ers on here. There have to be; there are tons of people on there. How long have you been a member? I think it's a great site and a really great community.

Ive only been a member for a couple of days! I tried myspace for a while for various music projects but it wasn't as great as I had thought. Soundcloud seems very "hassle free" though.

Soundcloud is great. The people are great. The look of the site is great. And there is a LOT of really great music on there. I was surprised at the talent level. Some really good stuff on there if you dig a little bit.
