well we need to know the melody. can you upload a rough track of the melody and chord progression?

I'm currently out of town. I'll be back late Friday and I work Saturday. So it might be a few days before I can contribute anything.

I can attempt to compose a melody on that program I mentioned. I am a novice but I will try it out.

OK, this is not the melody to anything I posted, it is something new I composed last night just fooling around. It is my first ever composition so it is super simple and totally minimalist. But I think I am going to keep building on it and I already wrote up a chorus for it.

P.S. I do not know how to share this as anything other than a download. Does anyone know how to do that?

Actually I went ahead and just put it on youtube for now. I will take it off later.

OK, I feel like a complete dummy, I forget to save the file as a movie file instead of a project so that is why I could not get it to upload. Anyway, this is a melody I was fooling around with for the Jack Minus... song. Not sure if it fits or not but I will keep trying.

If anyone is still interested in this I am getting close to having a full basic composition done of a new song I just wrote. I just have to figure out the chorus and the transitions between verses. It is a song that deals with some stuff that might offend people (religion) just to be up front about it. I am not sure where to put it next so that others can add to it though.

OK, the transitions are bad and it needs work but I wanted to get a melody in mind. I really think the chorus part (where it speeds up) could be really good with work. I plan on adding another verse or two to the lyrics (I have one about them eating faces I like) but these are what I have now:
