TOPIC: Albums of The Year 2011

Re: Albums of The Year 2011 1 year 4 months ago #107604

i've never heard of Neverending White Lights. i might check them out. i like the Jimmy Gnecco track and i will have to look up the MADM one. i always liked her stuff. are all of their albums good?

and he would be a weird fit with Velvet Revolver. his music is more emotional and frankly better written. i would like to see him put out more Ours and solo stuff too.

Yeah one of the best things I've ever seen in person in terms of music was at the magic bag in detroit he did a 2-hour acoustic show with Race on rhythm acoustic and their keyboardist at the time. I'd have a hard time not putting him into any "of the year" discussion ever pretty much.

I like all their albums, although I don't like the 2nd one as much as the other two. The actual Neverending White Lights guy (Daniel Victor, I think he's called) singing a cover of Miss World just doesn't work. I think you would like them though.

Velvet revolver? Made up of guys from guns and roses? Seriously? What combination of something sweet and something gun related will be their next band name? Candy Striped Colt? Box of chocolate nine millimeters?
