I red the novel and I liked it but this is one of the rare cases in which I prefer the movie to the book.
The novel felt a bit too provocative and too forced to me.
I'm glad they left out some of the books bigger scandals for good (e.g. like Eli being not a girl at all) and replaced them with an open guess (like in the infamous crotchy shot scene).

Although there's a bit put into this song, I find it a little dull. It's OK.

Footprints - 7/10

I didn't even remember this song, so I had to listen to it... I liked it on this occasion, weird that I hadn't remembered it. I'll give it a 7 for now, although I was leaning towards an 8.
