You know I've never heard of Porcupine Tree prior to joining this forum and have never heard of them outside of it either. That said, I decided to finally try them out tonight and I must say that I'm quite impressed with what I've heard so far. I've tried What Happens Now, Chloroform, and Arriving Somewhere, But Not Here and I'm very pleased with those. I'm definitely going to have to check more of their stuff out now!

Posts: 4523	Open Car Yes, finally SW got the point that a simple rocksong must be a simple verse/chorus thing without any overdone bullshit and that is why this works and Shallow failed. Maybe a bit undercrafted since we still listen to PT and not Deftones but that's the point I guess. It's a live classic for sure. 8/10

Almost on par with PT's most ambitious works and the best track on Deadwing fore sure. 100% modern prog rock with intelligent shifts, changes and arrangements all the time, beautiful lyrics and great melodies. A good song to introduce someone to PT. 9/10
