Is there any bands or artist that you ladies and gentlemen would be able to suggest for me? My favorite bands are are Smashing Pumpkins, The Doors, R.E.M., Poets Of The Fall, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Cage The Elephant, and Nirvana.

The Jesus Lizard - Big influence on the sound of Cage The Elephants second album and they also did a split single with Nirvana. Im sure having been around this site you will have heard Pineapple Thief at some point? You would probably enjoy them. You MUST have heard Alice in Chains?

The Joy Formidable have been compared to some Pumpkins live performances so you would probably enjoy them also

I think I've mentioned The Black Angels on here before, the first time I saw them they opened for The Pumpkins back at the Fillmore Residencies.

Anyway, you've checked out Alice In Chains right? Amazing grunge band! If you like Chris Cornell, his solo album "Euphoria Morning" is great!

If you like Jazz, check out Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Maybe Dave Brubek

For indie-rock, check out Pavement, Guided By Voices, EMA, Fleet Foxes...

Two great bands I've been big into lately are Manic Street Preachers and Primal Scream.

If you like electronica check out Air and maybe David Holmes.

For metal definitely check out Pantera, Judas Priest, Sabbath, Motorhead, early Slipknot, Ministry

If you like Britpop, you gotta check out Blur, Oasis, Suede, Pulp, Stone Roses, and Super Furry Animals!!

Definitely The Rolling Stones. If you haven't already you HAVE to listen to Exile On Main St. A-MAZING album!

There, that should keep you busy.

I have several good ones in mind but I'm not telling because I've got them lined up for my choices in the next music taste tournament and I don't want to spoil them. hahaha

Kings Of Leon are a good band. On the other hand The Beatles suck dick like a chump.
