Nothing really jumps out at me about any of these. I suppose I'll vote Doves because I disliked it the least.

It takes a while before one can adjust to the Tim Bowness sound (Centrozoon). As a song Little Boy Smile is nothing special, by itself, but there's just so much going on there and so much tasty Bowness coming out it bumps up the score. He's definitely a unique and acquired taste.

Doves was alright, but didn't get me excited. The first one was just mediocre.

The Centrozoon vocals were kind of creepy, but if it were an instrumental I would've liked it a lot. So it got my vote.

From top to bottom it's getting finer and finer - great choice of tunes :) :


This is a beautiful hipster tune from The Cat Empire which sounds like Perry Farrell without any pressure or anger.

The Doves sound like New Order on grunge to me - truly a great tune. It starts out a bit random but it grows.
I wonder why I never heard of them before.

And then we have Centrozoon; a dark and spooky british electronica classic that will haunt you in your dreams.
I can't get the chorus out of my head!

The Cat Empire one had a laid back feel to it. Kind of nice, but it didn't really grab me. The Doves one had a cool arrangement to it. I really liked it. The Centrozoon one was definitely unique. Cool beat. I might have gone for that one if it was just up against The Cat Empire. But I'm gonna have to give it up to Doves. Really like that song.

I enjoyed Centrozoon the most. I love stuff like that.
You're obliged to pretend respect for people and institutions you think absurd. You live attached in a cowardly fashion to moral and social conventions you despise, condemn, and know lack all foundation. It is that permanent contradiction between your ideas and desires and all the dead formalities...
