What genre of music do you hate more than any other genre of music? Why do you hate it so much?

My choice would be Rap Music, I don't need to hear some damn mush mouth, talking fast about bitches, drugs, and how famous he / she is.

Mine would have to be dubstep.
I can get into other types of electronica but not that.

some day someone's going to have to sit down and explain to me what exactly dubstep is

As for my most hated genre:

every song that has ever appeared on MTV's Total Request Live during the late 90's and early 2000's. In other words, the horrible sonic soundscape that infested the air during middle and high school

I can easily see people answering like this if it wasn't as educated and open-minded people like us:
"I do hate hip-hop because I'm so heavy metal machine..." (That's the James Hetfiled sort of opinion )
Every genre has it's highlights, you should better have asked for the least accessable genre to anyone.
That would be mainstream techno, mainstream classic, hipster bands, 101 radio-rock, heavy metal, so-called these days' dark wave (that strange industrial techno), Schlager, traditional German music and aggro-rap (German pseudo-gangster rap) to me.

Teen pop.

Death metal or modern country.

I hate Country Music, there's no depth to the lyrics, the music is boring, all the music sounds the same, the singers all sound the same, and the record companies write the songs to be popular. If most people would listen to the songs they would realize just how stupid the songs are.

Country wasn't always so bad, but modern country is just terrible. Just as bad as modern pop imo.

When I was younger, I used to hate Hip Hop and rap but my horizons and taste have expanded exponentially since then. There's a lot of good hip hop and rap out there.

What about this though?

as for genres i don't like- i don't like that shitty teen pop crap that's become popular over here and is plastered on everything. i'm also not big on country.

That song has a few things going for it. It doesn't have your typical cookie cutter country vocalist, the subject matter isn't partying with booze and women, and it has a lot of good folk elements to it.
