anyways currently thinking: I was listening to the hiphop station the other day and heard the worst song ever!! I can't remember how it goes, but one part stands out, except I can't remember it, but it had this line in it: Ima venereal disease like a menstrual bleed..
that was enough for me to say this music sucks ass....I told my son, that is some of the dumbest shit I have heard in a song.
Who wants to be grossed out by that shit...lame ass music going on. I also looked at the radio's play list
sucks ass....well it is a hip hop station, but the songs are just shitty.I'd rather listen to the old school hour, but old school is considered last year and beyond so they aren't really playing the 'old skool' stuff...
and our rock stations are pretty cheesy too..no Pumpkins being played...well none that I ever hear

I live in the Bay Area, I'm surrounded by this stuff daily. My neighbors play the loudest disturbing booty music I've ever heard.

Oakland is only a train ride away, when football season rolls around, "RAIDER NATION!!" then everyone and their mother ends up blasting Snoop Dogg and Usher.

It makes me wonder why I haven't moved.

Doesn't that sound just get old and boring to people...Snoop Dog always sounds the same, I think Usher is hot as hell, but his music this time is not as good as the confessions cd. It almost seems that there is not enough talent musically out there anymore, just steal the beats and melody from a previous song and make up some lame ass lyrics..don't get me wrong there are some good artists, but lil Wayne sucks ass and always has. Kids these days think he is the greatest rapper-WHAT!! They need real music in their ears

Yeah, I agree, Lil Wayne does suck ass and I haven't liked Snoop Dogg since high school. It is sad to me that people are so wrapped up in the booty and bling-bling. I just can't (and don't want to) understand it. There comes a time in your life when you should grow the f-up and think about what is really important in life. I am glad I am smart enough to understand what good music is and I am not stuck in only what is popular.

I just don't understand how booty music appeals to anyone, when I was in high school that's all they played at dances-it was a semi-ghetto high school. Everyone who wasn't white called themselves gangster, "Yo man, what's crackin? I'm hella gangster, straight outta S.F.! Da Yay Area!"

Um, you drive your mom's BMW to school and both parents graduated from Stanford-oh yeah, hella gangster.

Oh yeah...my cousin is typical white trash, but he 'raps' and throws up gang signs...I just hope no one actually in a gang ever sees him doing that.

I didn't know "hella" was used in other places. I thought it was a Bay Area word, when I go to LA or outside of California everyone asks me, "What's hella?"

Hella is a word commonly used around here, it's a slang word for "very" i.e. telling your friend that he/she "is hella stupid."

Kind of like when people say "That's wicked retarded."

There's that song by No Doubt called "Hella Good" which made it kind of popular.

It's funny the little rinkydink town kids were fiending on my nephew and son, because they were from a big city8-) ooooh aaahhhh-like they were something they have never seen:confused . Even the suburbanites here want to be around my boy...well he is a Pisces I could see why...

i think people should use hella more often, i have thought this quite often, but here in kentucky people just look at you strange when you use it. i like wicked too, but i think it is a little over used.

also my in laws are gonna be here soon, and the house is a mess, somehow i will get it clean, or not, maybe they won't notice.

I am thinking why would someone be selling the presale password on ebay for the dc shows, when you need an amex card to order the presale tickets and anyone with the card knows the presale password is just the phone number on the back of the card.

Oh am I am also thinking that these shows are going to kick a$$ and I hope they are the extended 3hr shows, with no opener, just them.
