If I could narrow the pain down just to my ass then life would be a lot easier. :p

Small world, musicman. I live up in Georgetown, but work in Lexington. Who knew we were that close? ha!

I am just now getting back to a state of recovery and into my normal routine. Monday night was nuts, and I was hungover most of the day yesterday. The cops did a WAY better job of dealing with it. Saturday taught them a lesson on how to prevent things from getting out of control. No major incidents happened Monday, and they said there were between 20,000 and 30,000 people in the streets partying. It was awesome because there were no strangers out there. We were all UK fans and therefore brothers and sisters. Everybody was just elated and having a great time.

I've lived in KY my whole life and was raised in a UK family. We aren't insane like the guys who got into a fist fight in the dialysis clinic last week...or the ones who burned a car Saturday night....but we are all very passionate about UK basketball. So this is as good as it gets for me. This team was truly special. A real joy to watch. As for the comment about Davis only being able to score on free throws? Might have been the case Monday, but was definitely not the case all year. That kid is the most well rounded basketball player I've ever seen and he's only 19. It's scary how good he can become.

The sun was a little brighter in Lexington yesterday and everybody had an extra spring in their step. Good stuff.

I was born here in KY and for all 15 years of my life I have lived here, love it here. Glad to hear things didn't go to out of control after the big win. The whole state seems to have emotions based on how well the team did around this time so this is probably best for everyone. Now the question is just who is going to stay and who will leave for the draft? We know Miller is a definite, but I've got a feeling were going to be starting pretty damn fresh next year. I'd love to see the rest of the team come back for a full second time, but after winning the championship it's pretty damn unlikely. Any thoughts on that?

I'm going to Florida for vacation next week. Get away from all this cold weather, haha.

I love KY too. I was born in the northern part of the state near Cincinnati, but I too have lived in the bluegrass my entire life. Wouldn't have it any other way.

As for the team, I think Kyle Wiltjer will be the only significant piece of the puzzle that returns. Been saying that since halfway through the season. Davis, Gilchrist, Jones, and Teague are all 1st round picks, Lamb is likely late 1st round or early 2nd round, and Miller will be a 2nd rounder. Wiltjer really improved as the season went on. I look for him to be a starter and significant contributor next year. Hood should be healthy and able to bring a spark off the bench, hopefully the way Miller did this year. Hopefully Beckam, Malone, and Long bring something to the table...who knows what. So hard to tell because they never saw any court time that had any significance. But practicing every day against the guys they did this year could only make them better. And on top of all that, we know Cal will bring in some big time freshmen talent. Not as much as this year's team had, but still....you can't ever count him out of anything.

My history professor said today that Inconvenient Integrity would make an awesome band name.
Anyone agree?

It would.

Are you in a band?

I had a short lived band, but everyone sort of went their own way, the problem was, I was the only one who took it serious. I had even written four really good songs. Sick, Shadow Of The Evil God, and two B-Sides, Dig Your Hell, and Count You Out.

No, I'm not in a band.
I always tried with my friends but had the same problem as you because on one took it seriously.
I always wanted to try and form one again someday though.

Soo good.

In all honesty, this is a very simple line..if Billy wrote something like that in TG..everyone would hate on him for it...oh wait they already do.
