A month or so ago, I decided to listen to every album I had, seeing as most of the albums I had, I didn't know what they sounded like start to finish, as a whole album, because normally I would have my 5000 or so songs all on shuffle on my iPod.

I finished Smashing Pumpkins today, and my two Smiths albums, Meat is Murder and The Queen is Dead. TQID was really good, I thought.

Now listening to Goo by Sonic Youth.

yeah, for me I usually listen to an album over and over again untill i get sick of it. That's just how I listen to my music, I don't know why.

Lately I've been listening to the album "A Chorus of Obliteration" by The Showdown but now I'm starting to listen to "Your Favorite Weapon" by Brand New

I tend to listen to the album a few times then other albums by the same band until i get something new.

Atm i'm listenin to One Hundred Days by Mark Lanegan Band in a WMP shuffle with Smashing Pumpkins, Ash, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Clash, Bob Marley, Tenacious D, Weezer, etc ... just a bit of a mashed up mix

I wanna get me some Weezer!!

Personally, I believe Pinkerton is a great album by Weezer, but I just heard the latest single this morning off the new album and it's pretty good. It's typical Weezer, I think it's called "Pork and Beans."

To the person seeking Da Weez, give Make Believe a chance. It's a criminally underrated album.

The new single ... I have a love/hate relationship with it. It's great, but it's almost lazy because it sounds SO MUCH like "classic Weezer."

As for what I'm listening to these days: Panic at the Disco's Pretty.Odd, like, religiously (just interviewed them yesterday.) Also just bought REM's Accelerate!

Ohh Accelerate! I so want it now, i saw a news feature on it the other day and it looked awesome! It said they recorded the album in a theatre in Athens, GA... that would be so cool, have a theatre all to yourself.

How is it? Is it sort of 'punk-ish' and 'short and punchy' as they said? I would love to see them when (/if) they come to Australia, they were one of the first bands i ever really got into.

Accelerate is the best record they've made since Out of Time. no exaggeration. They party like it's 1985 on it. Same classic structures of Life's Rich Pageant and such, and yet it still sounds totally relevant and rocking for today's audiences. I'd highly recommend it to everyone!
