I dunno if any of you know Die Ärzte (= The Doctors).
It's a very successful German Punk band with rather humorous lyrics.
I'm not a real fan and the music they do these days is commercial bullshit.
But I love their 1986 selftitled album "Die Ärzte" (which is the only one I own).
Back in that days they played Post Punk / Wave with rather dark lyrics.
The album is still banned in Germany since almost all the lyrics deal with stuff like S&M, incest, murder, darkness and apathy.
I'm currently enjoying this album.
That's one of those songs.
It's about a guy who is currently (while singing the song) killing himself to get to an imagined girl he dreamed of for many times.

Agreed. Best since Color and the Shape.

I definitely agree with that. The other albums have been pretty good but none matched The Colour and The Shape.
