Yeah but, Audioslave just never gets the air play it deserves.

I have also never understood why none on Smashing Pumpkins 2008 soundboard has never gotten any airplay, the play other bands and artist live recordings on the radio but no Smashing Pumpkins's. I could see a songs like these getting a good reception if people new they existed.

(I understand that this is off-topic, but....)

I just read where John Frusciante declined the invite to the induction of the Chili's to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...., and got to thinking: The Smashing Pumpkins will be "eligible" for induction in 2016.

I'm fairly certain that this belongs in it's own thread (I have no idea how to create one), but I think it would be interesting to see what reasons/credentials/qualifications TP.N members can come up with as to why the SP deserve a spot in the HoF.

[If anyone feels this is worthy of it's own thread, please feel free to create one on my behalf]

@Glass: I've tried to like Audioslave, but it hasn't happened yet. I only own their first album and Cornell's vocals sound so tired! Plus the album is AT LEAST 15 minuntes longer than it should have been.

Yeah, I never got into Audioslave either. Found their first album (which I only borrowed) quite boring - only liked one or two songs.

I like Patsy Cline, Country Music was okay before the Illuminati started using it.

I liked Audioslave because they were kind of like a calmer version Soundgarden. They were to Soundgarden what Zwan was to Smashing Pumpkins.

Believe me I know Smashing Pumpkins will not make it into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, because they just have so much bad luck.
