What do you mean Musical Wasteland? There were a lot of good bands in the 1980s, it's just that they underground like R.E.M.

I mean I can count on one hand the number of amazing 80's bands.


It's been a very long time since a song has been stuck in my head like this...

Back when the Black Keys were about blues, and Danger Mouse wasn't shitting on their sound.

I gotta say, after listening to Together We're Stranger and then putting Schoolyard Ghosts on right after, as I was listening to the first track on SG I was thinking to myself, "this is good, but it's not gonna be as good as TWS". But as each new track came on, I was blown away again and again. Amazing album. I've only listened once and I think it might already be my new favourite No-Man album :)

I think both tracks are among their best but I'd like to throw in Lighthouse then aswell.

As far as favourite albums go, I could never decide beacuse I love Schoolyard Ghosts, ((Speak)) and Returning Jesus all the same.
