I can only name a few artist / bands that I love all of their albums, The Doors, Joe South, R.E.M., Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, and Poets Of The Fall.

@Glass: I like alot of those bands but with the Doors, I don't care for the Soft Parade, with REM, I don't care for Around the Sun and with STP, I don't care for No.4. All great bands overall though!

I liked that Green Day song, especially by 3rd listen. Pretty basic and a slightly odd choice for a single - but sounds like a good album closer

For some reason I never really got into Sting And The Police. What album would you suggest I listen to first?

The lyrics are some of the deepest I have ever heared in my entire life and the calm but dark ambient music helps to lead me to some places of my mind I better should never ever have explored.
Much like gothic Pumpkins (In My Body).

Been listening to some Ancestors today. I'm still staggered how good it is.

You take a song like Corryvreckan. I give that song 10 out of ten. I guess maybe if there were decimals it might luck out on a 9.8 or 9.9 but it's still a solid ten as far as I'm concerned.

Then there's Neptune With Fire. That song is WAY better. I mean, I give it a ten, but if I could give it an 11 I would, it's that fucking good.

Then there's Orcus' Avarice and First Light. I think these two aren't just WAAAAY better than Neptune With Fire, they're two of the greatest songs of all time. Listening to them back to back was just an unbelievable experience. This is what all music should sound like lol.

So I guess it's ten out ten for those guys too.

I haven't listened to Invisible White or Of Sound Mind much, but I'm gonna give them a go on tomorrow's walk

Of Sound Mind took me a few listens to get into. In fact, when I first heard Ancestors - maybe in 2009 - I was "sampling" Neptune With Fire and Of Sound Mind. I enjoyed Neptune, but couldn't quite get into OSM. So after a few listens I kinda forgot about them. Then in 2011 I decided to give them another try and ended up loving it

Orcus' Avarice is one hell of a track. I always confuse it with NWF for some reason, but yeah, it's OA that's my favourite from that EP. Anyway, I'm glad you like them, now I can take the number of people I know of who like them to... two (including me).

I don't know much about Ancestors (probably should do some research), but they deserve to be a big name act.

They are definitely the best new band I've gotten into since the legendary Porcupine Tree. Which you also got me into lol.
