Man, this is the week of Bowness.
I just got an original CD of Barbieri/Bowness "Flame"

I'm just back from a night record exchange and I probably spent several hundred Euros in less than one hour.
This asshole really felt that I was hot on the Bowness album and he wanted me to pay €50 claiming that it was a deleted release (which is true).
I managed to get the price down to €37 which is still a robbery but I really couldn't leave without, having put my hands on it

.
Other gems I bought were Kiss' Dynasty on the original and limited red vinyl for €8 only (the seller didn't know how much it was really worth, I guess), Gentlemen Take Polraoids by Japan (Barbieri, again) which is nothing that rare but a new romantic classic I've been searching a long time on vinyl and Pussy Galore's Groovy Hate Fuck, on one of 2,000 released vinyls (!) for €30 only.
(Just as an explaination: The market for records has somewhat split in Germany in the last two decades.
The one side is the stores, mainly big electronic stores, selling albums and compilations that are well-known and famous and just few of the artists besides - it's even hard to track a SP recording in most stores.
For that reason, record exchanges became larger and more popular, the more the stores refused selling a variety.
This is the place for the real lovers to go.
Now these days, there's an exchange almost every month somewhere near my place but I force myself not to visit them too often
