I almost went with Straylight on this by default because the Animal Collective song took forever to get going. The intro was too long and drawn out. but once they got to the point, I really kind of dug it. Much moreso than I did any part of the Straylight song.....so Animal Collective gets my vote.

I liked Straylight Run "Existentialism On Prom Night" the best I would rate it as a 8 / 10. I didn't like Sky "What Would I Want," I would rate it as 2 / 10. I don't know what the rules of this competition are so I have not entered it yet. Would someone explain the rules to me.

Never heard of either of these, which hasn't been surprising of late. Great to see so many people submitting lesser known songs. Or, at least, lesser known in my world.

I guess I like both of these songs, but neither of them really Wows me.
Prom Night is a hit single that should get a lot of radio play. Would be good in concert too. They sound like a middle of a road band, but they're taking it to the next level. Definitely a feel good song, but at the same time there's nothing spectacular about it.

What Would I Want sounds like a mix of Moby, Radiohead and Ministry of Sound. When it's done right, I love a good dance song, but they haven't quite hit the mark with this one. Not bad, but I definitely would never choose to listen to this.

So Straylight takes the win

i don't like either of these i almost just withheld my vote. but i guess i'll give it to Animal Collective cuz of the textures.

I didn't particularly like the second one either, but at least I felt they tried, so I'm voting for that one.

For some reason it won't let me type in the entire title....like it's too many characters for the filed....so I abbreviated it AC. lol I think you guys can figure it out.

I thought the first 3 minutes of Animal Collective were pretty interesting. so it got my vote. The Straylight Run is the kind of song that plays on radio stations I don't listen to.

Didn't love either song, but I found the Animal Collective one much more "interesting."

I'm really glad the AC song is winning. Though I'm not usually too keen on Animal Collective, I have infinite praise for that song.

Just like the Strokes, hipsters never shut up about Animal Collective.
