Just found out R.E.M. are going to call it a day :(

Shame because they still seem to be writing some good music, but I guess its good they are going to finish on a high

This is NOT the REM thread I've always wanted! Man this is awful! They were making such great music still and I still haven't seen them! I'm so bummed out right now. They will be missed. But seriously, why couldn't AC/DC or something break up? Why R.E.M.!?

I'm going to have to listen to Up today, particularly Why Not Smile. :(
