I am posting this topic because up until this point I could not find anyone who has heard of "The Church Sessions".
So for everyone's info:
Billy Corgan recorded an entire acoustic album in a studio that used to be a church. The great thing about this recording is that it was done in gront of a small intimate audience. Each day of recording they allowed different contest winners to actually sit in. (thought they had to agree to be absolutely quiet during the recording process) What an idea!!! What's even better is that the entire thing was recorded for a CD & DVD that were supposed to be released around the same time as "TFE." However at the end of the process Billy felt that it was not the right time to release the music, so it has become an urban legend of sorts. I don't know of anyone who has a copy and that why I'm writing this. Does ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A COPY???
I know 4 a fact that they exist, the evidence is out there:
Example 1:
There was a website dedicated to chronicling the recording of this DVD. It contains photos of the actual event taking place as well as some journal entries from Billy himself that he wrote while he was working on the project. Here is the link to the site...

Example 2:
If you go to "you tube" and type in Billy Corgan Church Sessions you will actually find clips from the rehearsals!!! They are only about 30 seconds each but there's enough footage to make you want the DVD as bad as I do.
I think that if we all try and locate this rare recording we can do it.
The tracklist for the CD / DVD is as follows....

2 Black Sox
3 Bobby Franks
