For God and Country should have been recorded with arrangements like this for the album.. all songs shine in this acoustic set, maybe except for United States. This one is not meant to be played acousticly imo..

Ginger's backing vocals are amazing here. It gives That's the Way more depth. I could really use more of this in the studio.

There's some tremendous insight into the SP artistic process. Never really heard such beautiful and insightful discussion into how the songs get created.

TTW and FGAC are the two tracks I don't like much on Zeitgeist, but these acoustic versions are actually pretty good. And Today kicks ass. Good stuff.

i know why zeitgeist sucked, the production.

i dont know, maybe they need to go back to flood but the production is whats hurting most of the new pumpkin stuff.

I wouldnt expect something like this to come from the zeitgiest era..

The whole album should of been stipped back like this... Adore style!

This enlivened my previous love affair with For God and Country... Such a great song! I like the Zeitgeist version, but the acoustic style fits so well. I would have loved to hear the original version of this Billy spoke of!

Oh, and the piano on United States is soooo cooool!
