The Smashing Pumpkins will be headlining the Summer Sonic Festival in Mihama-ku and Osaka Japan. The festival takes place on Saturday, August 7th and extends to Sunday, August 8th. Other headliners include Jay-Z, The Offspring, The Pixies and Dream Theater. This is the first performance that has been announced for The Smashing Pumpkins in 2010.
